School principal Kamal Kant Majumder said that the school was established in 1972. Children's education was going on for long time as a non-official registrar primary school. In 2013 the school was nationalized.
He also said that 139 students are currently studying in this school. They are teaching 5 teachers regularly. The school is doing good results in the examination. Each year, as well as two or three, boys and girls are taking place on the list of scholarships.
In this situation, their biggest problem is the school building. Which is so risky that they are scared to take a small group of small children under the building.
Head teacher Kamal Kant Majumder also said that in 1994 the local government engineering department constructed a building, although the company ran for a long time. They were teaching in the building.
But in the last 3 years, the buildings have got fractured. The roof plastics are collapsing. The whole mess was destroyed. If there is some rain, then there is water on the roof. Two buildings in the building have got fractal.
School teacher Harun-ur Rashid said, several times they informed the matter to the upazila primary education officer in writing.
After two years, LGED's Upazila engineers came and examined the building as risky. Because there is no alternate arrangement, the work is being done in this building in Jhukipurna.
In this regard, Upazila Primary Education Officer Salma Khatun said that some of these school buildings in Kaliganj upazila are risky.
However, the Chapali Government Primary School is very risky. They have already sent proposals to the department for the new buildings of 5 establishments in the meantime. Hopefully this problem will be resolved quickly.
