Jhenaidah police did not carry out demonstration rally in the BNP. BNP activists held a brief rally in front of the party office after obstructing the police.
Jhenaidah district BNP tried to find out a procession in the morning as part of the central program to protest the arrest warrant against BNP Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman.
During the procession, the police stopped them. Their protest rally and protests were panded in police binding. The district BNP leaders briefly held a rally in front of the party's Gitanjali road office in the city.
Presided over by Jhenidah municipal BNP general secretary Abdul Majid Biswas, the district BNP president and BNP chairperson's adviser former MP Md. Moshiur Rahman spoke on the occasion.
BNP leaders Abdul Malek, Zahiduzzaman Mana, Anwarul Islam Badsha, Akteruzzaman, Nuruzzaman, Ashraful Islam Pintu, Ariful Islam Anan, Mizanur Rahman Sujan and Jatiyatabadi Dal leader Mosjam were also present.
